Birthdays
Each student’s birthday will be recognized throughout the school year. You are welcome to send in treats for the class. Our school has the following policies concerning treats and birthdays: Please send ONLY store bought treats (nothing homemade), red drinks are not allowed, and do not send party invitations, I will not be able to pass them out to the class. If your child has a summer birthday, we will celebrate their birthday at the end of the school year (May).
Class Parties
Throughout the school year there will be a variety of special classroom
activities and celebrations. I encourage you to attend these functions
and if possible to support them by donating needed supplies or treats.
Your support of school activities makes your child feel important and
sends the message that you value school.
There are two separate ways to sign up to volunteer. Please sign up if
you are willing to volunteer during the school day to help with the students. I will work out a schedule and send it home with your student. You may also wish to volunteer to help with classroom parties.
